Welcome to the home of the Lanka Academic Network (LAcNet), a nonprofit, volunteer organization run by Sri Lankan students, teachers and professionals living around the globe. Our primary mission is to enhance educational opportunities in Sri Lanka by increasing the accessibility of information technology to its students.
We are also interested fostering the exchange of information and academic research pertaining to Sri Lanka. Our volunteer projects range from establishing computer centers in rural and disadvantaged communities to publishing The Lanka Academic, our online newspaper.
