I Dream of Visiting

The Land Of the Rising Sun

Japan is a very beautiful country I dream about visiting one day.

Known as the land of the rising sun, it is located in the far East Pacific Ocean. The rising sun symbol is in their flag too. Four islands, namely Honshu, Shikoku Kyushu and Hokkaido make up Japan. It is a mountainous country. Eighty percent of Japan is covered with mountains. The population is approximately 115 million.

As a nation, the Japanese are well known for their self-discipline, politeness and kindness. The ancient culture of Japan is now influenced by the western world. Just the same, the Japanese have influenced the rest of the world. Some of the visible influences are Japanese motor cars, Ikebana, Origami,Karate, Bonsai and Karaoke. .

Tokyo is the capital of Japan. There are many important places for visitors in Tokyo. I would like to visit the Japanese parliament, The Tokyo Tower and Disneyland. Further, I would like to see Mount Fuji the well-known volcano in Japan and the famous Sakura flowers.
